Terms of Service
Bandmark (HSC Economics marking and practice) · Last updated 30 August 2026
The service
Bandmark provides AI-assisted marking, feedback and practice tools for HSC Economics, supervised by a human tutor. Marks and band estimates are practice guidance, not NESA results, and no outcome in any examination is promised or implied.
Accounts
You must provide accurate details and keep your password private. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should be aware of your use of the service and may request read-only access to your tutor conversations.
Accounts are personal: sharing an account or submitting someone else's work as your own may result in suspension.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe until cancelled. Allowances (marked essays and tutor questions) reset on the 1st of each month, Sydney time, and unused allowance does not roll over.
You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If a payment fails, marking pauses until payment resumes; your work and history stay intact.
Acceptable use
Submit your own work. Do not attempt to manipulate the marker, abuse the messaging feature, probe the platform's security, or use the service for anything unlawful.
Work you submit remains yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and mark it, including review by your tutor to improve marking quality.
Liability
The service is provided with reasonable care but without guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of any academic result. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law whose guarantees are not excluded, liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the amount paid for the current billing period.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will show the updated date above; continued use after a change is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
